BinaryNights is looking to recruite some extra hands for the pre-beta tests of ForkLift 2.0.
The app is still a long way (months) from complete, but we’re ready with some basic parts that we want tested in as many ways as possible.
Needless to say, we’re primarily looking for expert users with exceptionally acute observational capabilities, but also people who rely heavily on specific features and can provide some insight into optimizing workflow.
If you feel you can help us in the coming weeks please send us your forum user name to supportATbinarynightsDOTcom, and tell us in a few words what are your primary uses for ForkLift.
This pre-Beta is still a closed test, so you must be aware that everything you learn during the test period is confidential.

My primary uses for Forklift are finder replacement and FTP usage (around 300 MB per day).

I’d like to be a tester. I use forklift currently as my FTP client.
I would also like to try out your Beta Software, I have enjoyed using Forklift so far, and would like to help out in the new version, I tend to only use the FTP, aspect of the software, but I upload really large format image files for a printer, and so I’m looking at file sizes of up to 4GB, and so far your software has been stellar.
I use Forklift daily for my Web site and backing up to Amazon S3. Would like to give you my feedback on version 2.

Hi guys. My nick is levito. I’m new to the forum and haven’t posted anything yet. I’m using Forklift regularily and I like it a lot. Love the way it combines The Mac Way with MC style unix simplicity – not a zillion features but the essential things done right! And I’m really looking forward to the next version. Had a look at your screens and posts about the progress. It might grow from a Finder complement to a Finder replacement. Let’s find out, eh? Cheers!

Love to help test. Use FL for daily file management, syncing, occasional ftp work (hey…if I could import all my FTP sites from Transmit I’d use it more)
